The South Hills Swim Club was built as a private, neighborhood pool in the Woodland Heights area of South Hills in Charleston, West Virginia in the summer of 1959. Originally chartered with 148 members, this 25 meter pool located at One Roderick Road just off Parkwood Road, now has 325 family memberships.

Operating Memorial Day to Labor Day, this family pool provides a safe, summer swimming environment for children of all ages. The pool includes a diving area, with both high and low boards, as well as a separate kiddie pool, a play area for small children, basketball court and volleyball area, as well as a pavilion, picnic area and a snack bar. In addition, a swim team program and private swim lessons are available to children from pre-school to 18 year olds. Adults can enjoy swimming laps or simply relaxing in deck chairs. Special events are planned throughout the summer for pool members and their guests.

To join the pool, the membership fee is $500.00 and should be submitted within 10 days of acceptance of your application. The membership fee is not refundable. Annual dues are determined by the Board and must be paid by Opening Day each year. For 2024, annual dues are $550.00.
